Me and Aubrey were at the “Jim Henson’s Fantastic World” exhibit at the Museum of Moving Image in Queens on Friday! They have a real kermit, miss piggy, rowlf, and some others. So crazy seeing them in person. I LOVE MUPPETS. (If you wanna see the exhibit, it closes March 4th and is free on fridays!)

Aubrey got me a bonsai tree thingy for Christmas and the seeds are sprouting! IT HAPPENED OVERNIGHT! (I’ve been watering them for like 2-3 weeks but the sproutey things came out overnight, that is.) So excited.

This is a comic about how after I was sick for a week my ears got all stuffy and it was weird and I’m taking medicine now to make them un stuffy

A full time job I’m not being paid for. HEH.
So I came to the conclusion that I need to treat drawing like it’s a job otherwise I’m never going to make money doing it. That means that I need to wake up at a normal time, eat some food, and then draw for a zillion hours. Every day. I’m actually kinda worried about money, I need to find a gig or something. But I figure I need to put a lot in before I get anything back. I have to keep posting stuff and getting better at drawing and networking and junk before anything good happens. I think. I HOPE. OH GOD WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS OVER WHORING MYSELF ON YOUTUBE.
Also noting the fact that I keep changing the style I draw myself in between comics. I’m hoping that eventually it’ll naturally level itself out. Also I keep drawing myself with spiky hair but that’s only because my hair is messy at all times except for when I’m going out. Also I’m probably analyzing all this stuff way too much

One of the worst parts about being sick is not being able to taste anything. I think tomorrow I’m going to feel 100% though! FINALLY. All from walking over a bridge with 0 sleep at 7:30 in the morning in January. Whatever man, I’m too punk to care about being sick. 2 PUNK 2 CARE.
More thoughts on comic making: HMMM. So I wonder if I need to be consistent with the linewidths of each of my comics. If you look at the last one, all the lines are thicker, and if you look at the first one, it’s thin like this. Does it matter? Probably not unless you’re going to be viewing these comics all in the same place instead of one at a time, but I guess if I ever want to print these in a book that’s something I need to think about. I also got an almost chibi scott pilgrim thing going on in this comic. I don’t think I intended to draw them this way when I started in the first one, but I like the look. It’s really hard to stay consistent since I don’t draw bodies a lot, but hopefully after a while of doing these it’ll be easier. I’M LEARNING THINGS!
